13 Year old wearing lipstick!

So why is lipstick "too much" for 13 year olds? It's practically the same as lip gloss. I wear lipstick and I'm 13. (Not red) but it still looks natural and very pretty. Don't worry! I wear soft colors so its not like a dark burgundy or anything! But I want your opinions. It's the same as lipgloss!
