I have the same issue! It's so trial and error and a pain to be honest. I stress out about new products because I'm afraid it will make my skin go all crazy on me

Have you figured the cause of your acne? Is it hormonal, or a cause of the products your using? I would just start fresh, go out an purchase a simple cleanser such as cetaphil or cerave. And see what happens. If acne doesnt get better begin using something that will help such as an aha lotion. That way you can notice what products work for you and which dont. Best of luck, because sadly it mostly is trial and error.

What you really need to do is address the dryness first. The dryness is probably causing your cells to not get shed properly (due to lack of lubrication) and those dead cells will get stuck, create buildup, and eventually result in a pimple. What you need is a moisturizer made for dry skin that is oil free. You also probably need to use a gentle exfoliant (or exfoliating cleanser) that you can use daily if you have skin that is visibly flaking off. Definitely don't skimp on using sunscreen and drinking water.

Victoria, the acne is literally just on my chin, nothing major a few pimples (whiteheads and under the skin).
The dryness is on the tip of my nose and around my mouth and chin.

You need to address two key treatments, cell turnover & hydration. A combination of those will treat blemishes & aging, as well as clear up dry patches. I would suggest an enzyme exfoliation 2x per week & a oil free moisturizer for sensitive skin. I'm not aware of any drugstore enzyme masks, but Elemis makes a great one. All the good drugstore brands will have an appropriate moisturizer.
