Yes! They're owned by estee lauder, which does test on animals because they outsourced to china. Its terrible!

They are owned by Estée Lauder who is not cruelty free. And I believe MAC is not cruelty free since March.

I thought only the parent company did, Estée Lauder. A parent co can test but that doesn't mean the company does.

MAC released a statement saying they've started selling in China September 2011 and they mentioned that testing is required there. So while they probably don't test ~in the states~ they still do in China.

But if they don't test on animal, they will test it on human. It's so terrible..imagine that one of your family undergo that experiment and eventually he/she die..I will be mad if my family die than my pet die.

Ok so this is the catch. When a company says that they do not test on animals that may be well and true. But most of the time they outsource this task. So instead of testing it themselves and having to write that on the labels. They pay some other company to test the products on animals. So it's all legal. It's all legit. They don't test on animals. When in actual fact they do. They're just playing the game so they can avoid writing it. So yes. MAC DO TEST ON ANIMALS.
