Oval nails (rounded) lengthen short fingers. Scoval for dark and oval for light colours :)

It depends. If you have strong nails then you can have either. Depending on what looks best on your hand. If however you have weak nails that tend to break keep them square. Square is the strongest nail shape you can have

On my fingers I have squoval. A cross between square and oval. I love a stiletto but there's a fine line between ghetto and fabulous!

Follow the natural shape of your nail bed. The angles/curves of the cuticle are the same that your nails would take as they grow. Therefore, if they are round choose round, if they are square go square. It's an easy way to make sure your nails look natural on your hands.

square nails are more likely to break and harder to mentain and the round ones are easyer to mentain.. round works better for my nails but i like square nails better.

Why choose one. Go for both. We do this in my salon and call it squoval. Depends on your nails though as to what shape you have. What looks good on one hand will look terrible on another so take nail shape, fingers and hands into consideration.
