it depends on your nail bed size...in my humble opinion square nails on larger hands with large nail beds tend to look cluncky and big. Oval or point tipped nails flatter that hand type smaller hands and nail beds can do either or but square or oval shapes fit better. honestly its up to you and your personal style

Square is tacky and out of date. Like 90's prom French manicure. Rounded/oval nails are more flattering on the hand and makes the fingers look long and thin.
