What is the best way to apply blusher and with what kind of brushes? Every time I try to apply it I end up looking ridiculous !

I love the body shop blusher brush when you apply smile in the mirror and keep blending with a little bit of blusher every time and try and do it in a white/day light so you don't put to much on :)

Just smile and put it on the apples of your cheeks, what you can do is put it on and then put a loose powder over the top to blend it out a bit more to make it more natural

I so agree with Camille J. in recommending Goss YT. He has a great video on various blush applications. I used to apply it on my smiling apple cheeks but then I noticed it was dragging my face down as oppossed to looking healthy and lifted. I'm no spring chicken anymore due to age and losing a little chubbiness to my face so I had to tweak my application process. Definitely check out his channels (he has two).

I use a small-ish powder brush. And i apply it right above and slightly on top of my contour, which is on the hollow of your cheeks.
