Too Faced, I'm sick as hell, but I'm not dumb, hahahaha. I CAN SEE EVERYTHING ON HER FACE. I DON'T WAKE UP LIKE THAT IN THE MORNING. In fact, I look like a vampire. Thank you, illness.
Also, Too Faced, it's like your face palettes are made for light people only. It's 2013. Light people aren't the only people buying your makeup.
I just can't stop looking at the obvious eyebrow, eye makeup, and blush and going, "Really?" Hahahaha. It's pretty, but it's not screaming no makeup, makeup.

I saw this and I agree. She actually looks really heavily made up! Total fail.

Hahaha, glad I'm not alone. I posted this on my Facebook and two people "liked" it.
Oh dear, they e-mailed me again with "the secret to no makeup makeup" and I'm loling all over again.

It frustrates me so much! Like, are they really expecting POC to buy these face palettes and have it magically match their skintone? NOT WORKING LIKE THAT, TOO FACED!

I do love Too Faced products but this is a fail... I have seen better no makeup, makeup LOL... She looks like she is rocking a day-to-night look... what in the world... LOL. I mean we wish we could wake up looking like we are going to a ball but I just look like a ball of sh*t so yeah... complete marketing fail on that end... there is a difference between pitching natural makeup, and the no-makeup look. This should have been worded differently! yikes ! lmfaooo!

EXACTLY! I mean, it's a GORGEOUS look. The model looks beautiful and the makeup looks beautiful! But... dark-ish eyeshadow is not no makeup. Neither is the semi-heavy blush. And, well, I've seen natural brows that thick but not... so filled in.

I woke up with my hair in a bun that has not been washed in two nights (WHO WANTS TO DO ANYTHING WHEN THEY'RE SICK AND NOT GOING OUT?! LOL), disgusting skin from being sick, and... blah, lol. I couldn't think of what to update my makeup blog with but now I think I want to do a little mini-rant on this lol

Have you seen Urban Decay's front page on their site? They have an ad for the new BB cream or whatever and it tells you to slide the bar over the model's face to see the difference...but you can totally see all the photoshopping they did! Even her nose was moved.

I am starting to get over the cold from hell, so I was feeling crappy as well. This add is hilar! <3

@the urban decay comment
The nose wasn't actually moved. There's just less of a shadow, although the graphic designer was pretty clumsy to make the exposure/brightness/contrast that obvious.

Umm yea. I want to say I often look better when I slept in my makeup but yea she looks not only made up but like the photo retouch fairy blessed her with the airbrush wand as well.

Becca you have that youthful perfection of all young kids makeup is just another kind of art/grown up play. Enjoy being fresh and new.

Tell you what did happen though. That is the exact same picture, not a before and after. You can see it because some of those individual strands of hair are the same. Do you think a makeup artist would have applied BB cream to her face and not moved her hair? Nope. Even if she could get in precisely the same pose, that wouldn't happen.
What they did was that they darkened the shadows and corrected the color balance to more of a blue tone for the before picture, then they went back to the original, brightened it and added warmer tones like pink.
As for the coverage, I would guess that the coverage is pretty sheer...I can see her freckles in both versions.

That "No Makeup Makeup Face Kit" and that other "Natural Face Kit" certainly don't look like they can be used for ladies and gentlemen with much darker skin and I'm not talking about NC35s. I'm talking about their face palettes. They have two. Those TWO palettes aren't gonna work for the NC58s. Not that one concealer shade, aaaaaaah. Too Faced, more concealer shades in your -face- palettes, plz.
I've my own issues with UD as well.... a flop brand, lol.
I cannot remember the last time I went to the UD website.
