I'm new to using epilators but I want to buy the best one , meaning less pain. Shaving is quick but I can still see all my hair underneath the skin.
Any advice?

I've never tried one so someone correct me if I'm wrong - but since they're all pulling your hair out by force the same way. Aren't they all going to hurt?

Think of Romantaque as a Post Hair Removal lotion that minimizes hair regrowth.
Romantaque is to be applied to normal intact skin after hair are removed by TWEP ( Threading, Waxing, Epilation or Plucking). Check out yourself at www.Romantaque.com or www.Romantaque.Blogspot.com
Happy hair riddance.

Oh my, I bought one, I think it was braun, and meant to be a gentle one...hell no!! it hurts like crazy,I think there all hurt, because its pulling your hair out at the roots, so sorry can't help, all I can say is that I wouldn't recommend it if your not good with pain!;)

I use an epilator and love it. I've always waxed or used an epilator my skin is too sensitive to shave or use chemicals on so I'm a bad judge of pain. The more you do it the less painful it gets. The one I use is by Braun but I threw out the box and don't remember the model number. Best thing about them it you don't have to wait for the hair to get long at all compared to waxing and it grows in super soft

I epilate my legs and and it works great for me. I've never had a bad experience. But what the others say is true, they are all going to hurt in the same way. What I have noticed though is that it hurts a lot at first and then you kind of go numb to it and it stops hurting. But of course you can also use numbing creams and pain killers as mentioned. I think Phillips is a good brand for epilators.

They hurt at first but it gets much better. It's actually easier if the first time you do it, you have someone like your sister or a girlfriend do it for you so you won't give up in the middle. First few times I got my sister to try it I had to do it for her she just couldn't soldier through it herself. It's kinda like getting a Brazilian wax you'd never be able to finish it yourself it'd just hurt to much but you can bare it when your esthetician does it for you. Don't be scared though, it's less painful than a bikini wax but about equivalent to waxing your legs. It's much better than wax since I feel like it thins out the hair much faster, the hair grows back softer and softer every time you do it and some hair just stops growing. You also don't have to wait for it to get very long at all. I've been living with my SO since April and like 3 weeks ago we were watching a. Movie and I was laying with my legs across his lap and he was rubbing my legs and he asked me if hair even grows on my legs because he's never felt it or even felt stubble. At that point my leg hair was a few millimeters long too. So, go for it!

I use Philips, the first time is the worst, but it gets better, I've done epilating on my legs 3 times now and I hardly feel the pain anymore
