Hello! So I HATE the look of foundation on the skin, personally, and I was wondering if you guys had any great foundations? I don't care about my blemishes and what not, it's just my hyper pigmentation of redness, and under eye circles, so a light coverage that's build able is all that I need! Thanks in advance!

I would look into a good CC dream if you want light coverage to correct redness.

Sorry I'm not sure about the best brands for those.

Well for your under eye circles you can use concealer since foundation isn't meant to cover that
for redness you should use a green primer

I've been looking for BB creams, Kyra, but I haven't really had a CC cream catch my eye yet, I really want to try the complexion Rescue by Bare Minerals! And Les, do you have any recommendations? I tried the smash box green primer and I didn't notice a difference, and I hate the feeling of silicone primers 😁 thank you both!

I actually watched a video and it said that if you add a drop of almond oil or another oil it will make change the texture of the foundation and make it more skin like. I do this all the time and it works!!
Hope that helps!!

Leah, was that from Wayne Goss?! He's my favorite! Maybe even my idol!! I just haven't ran across any almond or jabaja (I can't remember what it was Exactly called) oil when I went to the store, but do you think I could use tea tree oil? :)

OH and I forgot to mention, I have VERY fair skin, freckled, and I have normal combination skin, if it is dry, it's on my chin or my nose, and if I'm oily, it'll be on my apples of my cheeks, but nothing is too severe!

Definitely UD NAKED skin foundation if you don't have any dry patches.

RCMA has an amazing foundation. It looks like I'm not wearing anything. Urban Decay naked skin is also pretty good

Bobbi Brown just released a new foundation formula...Intensive Skin Serum foundation. It vouches to give your skin a flawless finish that is natural and offers color correcting properties. So if you have any redness its suppose to correct that without you needing to include a concealer. I'm going to be checking it out this weekend myself because I'm a hardcore Bobbi Brown fan. From what my SA told me at my fave store said that its super light on the skin and doesn't feel heavy or cake. Serum foundations have definitely gained in popularity and this one is just the latest addition.

Shelley, I saw that! But I was super confused because I didn't know a serum foundation was a thing, so I just looked past it as a regular skin care item, ahh I'll have to make my way to the mall sometime soon and try out all of these products, I'm super excited!! Thank you all!! And Leah, I'll have to attempt the tea tree oil!

My friends have tried most of the girls suggestions up top and loved them. However, I use Revlon Colorstay and I'm not sure if you would like it... Yes, the coverage is great and it looks more natural compared to other medium/full coverage matte foundations (this one has a demi matte finish) but it's not undetectable. Also, I would refrain from using pure tea tree oil on the face, I know you can use it for treating blemishes but even then the girls on here recommended it has to be diluted in water, so be careful! 😊

Well for foundation I would recommend Mac matchaster because it's super blendable and really blends into the skin. But if you don't like the foundation, then use CC Cream. Use concealer on the redness and concealer for your under eye circles! :)

Tea tree oil is not a hydrating oil at all. It's actually very drying it's used to kill bacteria and can be used to treat acne. Almond oil and jojoba is hydrating to skin though.

I wouldn't use tea tree oil either as livi said its drying, I've heard almond oil is hydrating (:
