Sorry, the photos got cut off. (Also- please ignore the pimples, I don't really wear concealer/foundation)

I think you need to bring the colors up higher, use a transition/crease color, and bring the colors onto the lower lash line. It just looks like you placed down the lid colors and nothing else. Pretty colors, though (:

@Alexis C. Thank you! I'll have to work on that. I have to ask though- what's a transition color?

A transition color is a shade that goes through your crease that helps the colors you've placed on your lid smoothly transition into the crease and to the brow bone. I like to use a shadow slightly darker than my skin tone for this, like a taupe or light brown shade, and apply that through the crease first and then apply my lid colors and blend where the lid color and the transition color meet (:

I agree with Alexis, but you should also use a base when using bright colors to make them seem brighter! Try using a white jumbo eye pencil, or a paint pot, or any cream eye shadow! It'll make them appear much brighter and vibrant, but your blending it very good!!

What tarte palette did you use?

I agree with the girls. MAC paint pots are amazing bases, or for something cheaper the nyx jumbo pencil in milk works too. Apply a transition color & apply more of the lid color up a little higher and blend.
