Get some snake bites or spider bites. I feel like angel bites would look a bit overwhelming.

I actually think a vertical labret would suit you very well.

I think you'll look cute with a lip piercing. I used to have snakebites and the pain was probably 3 out 10 it really didn't hurt but it healed very slowly. Everyone's different with pain so it may or may not hurt a lot. One important thing for caring with a piecing is cleaning it a couple times a day with saline solution.

When I got my Monroe, the pain was about a 6, but only for when he pushed the needle through, as soon as he stopped applying pressure the pain was gone, I was so surprised. As for healing, the mouth is the fastest healing part of the body, so DONT TAKE IT OUT because they say that even after its fully healed, it can still close up in as short as 12 minutes (I don't know if that's a myth or not) but make sure to rinse your mouth with non alcoholic mouthwash (listerine is recommended, for alcohol is bad for the scar tissue) EVERYTIME you eat. Just be very cautious, and fallow the healing process that they tell you very well, and use sea salt spray! :)

For the pain I can't really say because I didnt get it done professionally haha, but it does get pretty swollen for the first day or two, also I'd suggest getting a ring instead of a stud for the healing process because I found that the back of the stud would dig into my lip when they did get swollen, also the bar is usually too short and it gets tight when it gets swollen. Good luck& I'm sure youll love it! :)

@ Lala, not necessarily, I started getting piercings at 13 and didn't need parental permission :) it depends on the piercing shop.
My experiences with all my oral/lip piercings have been pretty easy, I've had my cheeks, dahlias, angel bites and all have felt pretty much the same, it's generally a quick pinch and it's over, for me it was about a 5-6 Pain wise, it really is bare able. Healing for lip piercings don't take long, your able to change the bar after 4-6 weeks but for safe measure I tend to leave mine in for a good 3 months before tampering with them in any way as they do heal pretty quickly when left out too long when they're new. I feel as though a vertical labret would look best on you, however they're a little more painful then the average lip piercing.

Oh and swelling tends to be at it's worst point around 3 days, after that it'll start to recede and go down. Just make sure you're cleaning it twice daily for at least 4 weeks, even if it feels like it's healed it doesn't mean it is and it still needs to be looked after. :)

My friend got her lip done said that it didn't hurt at all it was just a little punch but after a couple of days she said it felt like she was punched in the mouth haha, but she said getting the actual needle in and piercing doesn't hurt at all, but that's her, so yeah, hope that helped a little and good luck (:

I got spider bites & it didn't hurt at all. before he pierced my lip he had me use this numbing mouthwash thing so my lips were numb. your lip is going to get really swollen so get it pierced when you don't have to go out & about the next like 2 days haha. make sure you clean it as directed too. oh & be careful when eating. in the beginning I accidentally bit the bar so many times, it takes a while to get used to.
