I have short nails because I bite them (I know its a bad habit) but I find that putting nails polish on helps with that. Anyway is there something I can do to make them grow fast.

I had the same problem. I used Burt's bees lemon cuticle butter and I put it on and pushed down my cuticles. I filed them and I stopped biting them and I also used coconut oil as a cuticle oil and also Vaseline seemed to help as a cuticle cream. Try it out. Hope this helped (:

I don't think that there is really anything that will make your nails grow faster but it's more about taking really good care of your nails and cuticles and then making sure that your nails are as strong as they can be so that once they start to grow they won't break.

Delinah what you are doing is just fine, just keep them cute and painted at all times. If you invest time and effort into making your nails pretty you won't bite them, that's how I stopped biting mine (I had this problem my whole life and nail art literally cured me.

You can purchase a nail growth polish, Sally Hansen makes one. I've tried it and it worked for me, I noticed a big difference within the first week using it.

Oh, didn't even read that you bite them. Continue painting them and keeping them pretty, that's how I stopped biting mine too :)

Mine were exactly the same as well, I tried so many "nail growth" polishes and it didn't help them grow at all.
only thing that worked for me was getting fake nails.
yeah it sounds horrible, but it helped them a TON.
I just keep nail polish and a nail hardener on them at all times and they look great.

I hated acrylics when I was trying to grow my nails out, honestly I'd try and do it without those and use them as a very last resort, they're nice but as soon as you take them off nails are brittle and easily break leaving you back at square one and with even more vulnerable nails. Just my opinion as I tried acrylics when I first tried to stop the biting and sure, it works while you have them on but as soon as they're off they're worse then they were.

Well shaye acrylics worked for me, that's why I said it.
if I didn't get acrylics then I wouldn't have long nails now.
they aren't brittle at all either, since that have grown haha
people have different methods and that was mine. (:

Do NOT take Biotin or growth pills. They are dangerous if taken without a deficiency (which is only diagnosed by a doctor) and can cause sickness, acne and hospilitisation.
