Discussion - should people tell you are wearing make up?

Do you think people should see clearly that you are wearing make up? I don't mean gold eyeshadow and eyeliner but I am talking about brows, eyelashes and foundation. Do you think creating a base on the face that look very natural and well blended is the key? Let me know! I am interested what people have to say.

I think it all depends on personal preferences. Lots of people like a natural looking face but I personally like really makeupy looks. But honestly, either way you go blending is a factor that can make or break your look.

It's a personal preference thing, really. Makeup is makeup, you're shouldn't be buying it to achieve a completely natural look, in my opinion. Especially people who hoard and enjoy makeup, I highly doubt they're shelling out hundreds on makeup for people NOT to realize they're wearing it. Makeup will always alter your looks, and it people have seen you with AND without it they will notice! Haha. I personally like makeup that is well blended but some don't and that's fine! Regardless though, people will more than likely tell.

I think it is a personal preference as well. If you buy makeup and spend a lot of time with it then obviously you probably won't achieve a totally natural look. But it's a personal preference if you want people to be able to notice your makeup.

Personal preference most definitely. I do not care if people can tell if I am wearing makeup, I feel comfortable wearing a lot of makeup and it's my skin. But there are some days where I decide to go for a natural look.

I personally prefer a natural look, but I think it all depends on what you are going for. A lot of people tend to wear a look that makes it seem that they are 'flawless' naturally, in addition to some low key see able makeup.

I think foundation should look natural and flawless. It should look like your skin doesn't have imperfections , I think that's the point of it. But everything else I'm like meh. I get ready to impress myself so if someone knows I don't naturally have a cat eye eyeliner then so be it haha. Natural looks are great if you naturally have those features but I prefer to look more done up.
