Hey guys! So I saw on here before that, you shouldn't mix a silicon primer with a water based foundation... Soooo with that being said what is your favorite silicone based primer and foundation pair? And then water based pair?? I'm looking for something new to try!!

I believe these are silicone based but mine are hourglass and MUFE mat velvet.

It's fine to mix any with a silicone primer! The rule is no water based with oil based. So... No natual type primers like from korres or oil based moisturizer. If you find you get separation with a pairing, I'd look at the moisturizer rather than the primer. Hope that helps!

Imo the best foundation and primer match is Hourglass immaculate liquid foundation with the Primer veil.

Agree w/ monica. you can't go wrong w/ that combo, it's pricey, but perfect for oily skin
