I apply my foundation with a buffing brush,
Then I go in with my beauty blender and stipple my whole face to remove any extra product.

Beauty blender, it's DEFINATELY worth it. I have tried so many sponges from different brands and the beauty blender made such a big difference.

Lately I've been using my fingers. I have super dry skin, and I feel like using my fingers "warms up" the product. after I go in w/ a stippling brush to blend everything out.

Depending on my skin that day I usually use a combo of a brush to lay down the product (or fingers) and then the beauty blender to smooth it out and blend. I love it

My choice is dependent on the foundation. For example, my Dior Star is best applied with a Beauty Blender. While my BB/CC creams give great results with clean fingers. Powder foundations...a stippling brush.

Fingers is to most natural I think. I had a phase of using beauty blender now don't use it, I now use the mac 187 brush to either stipple of buff.

KHols carries a beauty blender dupe that beats them all! And it's $4. I think it's earth therapeutics or something. It is pretty much an exact dupe of the bb. But personally, I prefer either a flat top kabuki (precision face brush from bare minerals) or the sephora #78 airbrush foundation brush. That's my newest LOVE!

I like to use a flat paddle foundation brush to first apply the foundation evenly on my face, then I blend it out with a beauty blender. I find that this gives me a good coverage without being cakey and it also prevents the beauty blender from absorbing the foundation.
