Acne for 15 years. I don't know what else to do.

I have to disagree everyone suggesting accutane. I took it and it was a horrible, complete waste of money and time. While it did clear up my acne for a few months, as soon as I got off of it, I broke out horribly afterwards. Not only that, but it caused me severe back pain, which made a 2nd round of treatment completely out if the question. If she's trying to start a family, it's no a good idea to get on accutane as it is VERY dangerous to infants and you absolutely cannot get pregnant while taking it. There are other more natural, much safer ways to maintain acne other than accutane.

I suffered from acne since I was 17. It also triggered because of laser hair removal treatment. I tried every face cream every product all different types of facewash and scrubs etc.went to a dermatologist nothing worked. Finally I started doing natural remedies at home. I reduced my sugar intake and completely stopped eating fried food (only once a month maybe) I started putting home made facepacks.
The few that helped me are below.
Rose woater and fresh lime juice mix it well and apply withbcotton its going to burn a little but it acts like a cleanser. Second was plain yogurt make a paste out of it. Then apply it onto your face and massage in a circular motion keep it on for 10-12 mins then wash off with lukewarm water. Third was fullers earth + trumeric powder face mask. These helped me a lot. I did them everyday for 6 months now I don't have acne at all and all the marks have also disappeared. I used tea tree oil (herbal products only) like face wash toner scrub cream made out of tea tree oil but only by herbal companies. Like the bodyshop forest essentials etc. and all my marks have completely vanished. Now I have a very healthy skin! I hope this helps you!
