I want to buy the makeup forever hd foundation. I was wondering if it was necessary to set it with anything?

You should always set cream and liquid products.

What's your skin type? I don't use MUFE HD but I don't set my foundation with any powder usually. I have dry skin & don't have any issues not using a setting powder, I do own them and use them on rare occasions but it's not necessary for me, my foundation still lasts all day and looks great. I do use setting sprays quite often but not every single day

Yeah, I never ever set with powder when I used this foundation... Then again my skin was somewhat dry... Try it out on its own and if you tend to shine or get oily then I like rimmel stay matte as a drugstore setting powder. If youre oily you probably will need to powder. But then again, to me its not always needed, so try it out first.

I have a sample size of the HD foundation and I don't set it with powder all the time, however I do like using a setting spray if I don't powder, just to prolong the wear!
