Oh Melissa I just saw your reply now! I have oily acne prone skin with scarring that I want to fix and hair that could use some volume. Thank you so much for your help!

@cecil, you mean you don't use shampoo? The shampoo bars are like traditional shampoos in a bar form, so it will definitely clean like shampoo will. But of course you can use them! There are so many for different hair types.

@renay, you want a moisturizer and a body wash in one? I would check out either of the shower smoothies (which are basically creamy washes), or The Olive Branch shower gel - it's full of olive oil!

@jamie, for oily skin, a cleanser like coal face or dark angels uses tons of charcoal to help sop up excess oils. Dark Angels is more of a scrub though, so it would definitely help more with scarring since the exfoliation will help speed up the skins shedding/healing process. Then following up with the tea tree water as your toner would be a great gentle way to help keep bacteria at bay. And then You could use Grease Lightning as a spot treatment for any pimples! It's full of tea tree and aloe, so it's awesome at fighting bacteria and helping the skin heal. And then any moisturizers with cocoa butter helps even out the skin tone. Something like Enzymion will help moisturize and even out the skin tone, while helping mattify oily skin.
And for your hair I would recommend Seanik shampoo bar, or Big. Both have sea salt to help add volume to the roots. It just depends on whether you could prefer a solid or more of a liquid shampoo :) Also, Seanik doesn't have as much salt, so you can take that into consideration too if you are worried about drying out your hair at all. :)

@melissa I don't use chemicals on hair (sulfate, silicone, blah). is the shampoo bar 100% natural?

@cecil ahhhhh I gotcha. No they aren't 100% natural! They do use some sulfates derived from coconut oil, because there is no other way naturally to get a lather. However the shampoo with the least amount of sulfates would be Blousey, in case you did wanna give one a try :) it's not a shampoo bar, but instead a really creamy nourishing shampoo that comes in a tub.
