How do you usually wear your powder foundation? What's the proper way to wear it? And would you recommend powder foundation during the spring/summer months?

I put on a brightening/radiant primer first. Then intake a dense domed brush and buff the powder on. For places that need a bit more coverage I pat the powder on. Unless you're dry skinned I see no harm in using only powder for spring/summer.

Melanie took the words right out of my mouth, I completely agree with her comment and use that exact method of application when I'm wearing only powder foundation. Sometimes I use a dense flat top brush to buff it in instead of a domed brush, but that's all personal preference. Also I like to pat the powder on with a sponge vs a brush.

I reside in FL so during spring/summer I retire those formulas. But when I do use them I apply it with a stippling brush. I spritz my brush with something similar to MAC Fix+ and go at it. Use it based on the outdoor environment...I'm dealing with high humidity and heat so if I use a powder foundation and walk from the car to the front door I'm dripping in sweat. Its not a pretty look. If you reside in a drier climate like lets say California...then you will fair a lot better. :)
