What happened to my foundation??

I've been using revlon colorstay for combination/oily skin for about two months now and I've noticed it getting thicker and thicker. It already was on the thicker side to begin with, but easy to pour out of the bottle (there is no pump to this foundation). Now, the product is so thick it's almost impossible to get out of the bottle! What caused this foundation to thicken so much?

I usually store the bottle upside down so the product is easier to get out, but I forgot today. It's been sitting like this for almost 12 hours and the product still hasn't budged.

Are you sure it's not just clogged? Have you soaked it in hot water? Make sure it's closed. It'll loosen the product.

I keep it on my vanity in my bedroom. It's not in any sunlight either.

Keep the cap off for extended amount of time it will thicken up like that due to the formula. They really need to switch it up to a pump. My daughter used a heating pad to warm up some foundation that did the same thing and she wasn't near a water source.
