Aw Swati! You could cut them down or attach a fake tip and paint over.

You can just go back to the salon and tell them that this was faulty

I hate when that happens too, I normally just make the rest of my nails a bit shorter so it doesn't look as noticeable but I don't cut them the same length as the broken one

Ouch girl what happened D: Like I literally feel your pain. Well just an advice for the future, if your nail is breaking but it hasn't completely fallen off like in your case, you can remove the polish, put base coat, cut a tiny piece of toilet paper and put it on top of the crack, then get nail glue or sth like super glue on top of the paper and when it dries just file the surface to even it out. Then you can paint your nail again and voila!

Woww Kattya that is a super advice π
Will definitely do tht next time ππππ
Thanks a ton. π
@Ishika they are my own nails not salon nails π

@ Lauren will do tht for now as cutting them all the same length will b bad for me to look at.
I love long nails. So.

Alternatively you can cut a small piece off a coffee filter and do the same thing Kattya said to do but with that because it's stronger and might last a bit longer. that's how my mom taught me to mend a broken or split nail :)

You should have an acrylic overlay put on them so they don't break

Swati K.
Thanks girlss ππ
@ Freddy what is acrylic overlay?? I am sorry I I have no clue about it π
Apr 4, 2015
Freddy A.
It's a thin layer of acrylic over your natural nail,it keeps them from breaking :)
Apr 4, 2015
Swati K.
Ooww ok.. Thanks
But it won't damage nails ,rite??
Apr 4, 2015
Freddy A.
As long as you don't try to peel or bite the acrylic off no,the only thing is that because it's acrylic you would have to get a fill every two weeks or do it yourself...but it's worth it in my opinion :)
