Justine is right. Otherwise it'll just cause more damage further up and you'll have to cut even more off. Also aussie three minute miracle conditioning treatment along with coconut oil hair masks.

Cut all the damages hair, buy and good shampoo and conditioner. My current favorite ones are Keratin oil shampoo and conditioner buy organix or Ogx it goes by now. Do coconut oil treatments twice a week. Try to use less heat on your hair.

I would recommend using Matrix Indian Oil, it is a strengthening oil that makes the hair stronger and healthier without making it greasy (I bought mine at chatters) Also one of my favourite deep conditioners that I used that revived my hair is Loreal oleo therapy (I just it from a supermarket). The deep conditioner is a weekly one but I used it everytime I washed my hair for under a week and my hair went from damaged, frizzy, straw, to soft, manageable, healthier hair.

Totally agree with just cutting all of the damage hair. It'll grow back and the wait will be worth it. Once your hair is nice a fresh, take care of it by using products like the ones the girls mentioned and don't used Heat! Girl I can't tell you how much My hair grew WAYYY healthier without using heat. Hope it goes well😊😊
