So I got a new lipstick yesterday (thanks Sephora makeover!) and I love the color but it clings and exaggerates how dry my lips are. My lips are constantly dry and chapped with some days being more dry and chapped than others.
Usually I just exfoliate with a toothbrush, which works okay, but I want to try a lip scrub and see if that helps with the dead skin so I can wear my lipstick without it clinging to everything.
Any lip scrubs you recommend?
Please don't suggest a DIY lip scrub, I would rather go out and buy something.

My go to is actually a damp washcloth followed up with Bite Beauty's Agave Lip Nectar..which means no chapped lips..ever..and smooth application. As for scrubs, I do make my own, bit also have Tarte's and you need only a bit. Lush, to me, is too much waste..falling out of the jar and not emollient in any fashion.

Thank you, Rozberry! I was just looking at the Tarte lip scrub and I didn't even think to use a washcloth! (:

The brand Diva Stuff (I believe it's only available on amazon) makes amaaaazing lip scrubs. And you don't have to immediately apply a balm like other scrubs, because it has moisturizing properties in it. There are a bunch of different flavors too. I've only tried the caramel and lemon drop but they are both delicious. Some of them even have candy in them haha. They're also really cheap, I think the most expensive one is $7. And they send samples of other products too :) I highly recommend!

The tarte lasts forever and I love the tin! Honestly, since the nubby cotton damp washcloth and my Bite lip mask..scrub is rarely needed. I sleep in the agave..and apply about 30 minutes before lip color. Nivea lip butter is also nice for sleeping in.
Check this out!

I love lush's lip scrub, and I sometimes make my own with a little oil and and sugar. But what helps the most is drinking water. Trust me it helps a lot

I also make my own lip scrubs, but my sister also has the same problem and a damp washcloth has helped her a lot!

I always use the Elf lip scrub because it's el cheapo and it comes in a lipstick tube so it's not messy at all. It was a great find, I think.

Hannah, I actually forgot about ELF's lip scrub! I'll look into that as well, thank you (:

Anytime, I like it better than both the Bite scrub I have and the ILIA scrub I have, though the ILIA is almost as good :)

It's not technically a lip scrub, but during the very dry winters in my area (and sometimes I compulsively lick my lips) I use this rose salve from Bath and Body Works and an overnight lip rescue with shea butter from there. It also works great on sunburned lips.

I am with Hannah one the elf lip scrub! I have the same problem with with dry/chapped lips, and it doesn't help that I live in the desert! other than that, I make my own with canola oil or castor oil, refined sugar, and a little peppermint oil for smell and that works just fine if not better:) other than that, I would drink a lot of water and try to avoid licking your lips because that will dry them out even more.

I rotate...sometimes I use a soft baby toothbrush with a honey/glycerin mix or I use a soaking wet baby wash cloth...or I'll use Aqua Reveal Smooth Taljer Water Peel for Lips...with that one you literally watch dead skin ball up on the lips.Wipe off with a damp face cloth and my lips are soft and issue free.

Oh my lord, I totally forgot about Lush lip scrubs! if you have a lush were you live, they have amazing lip scrubs! they also last a long time (I got one for Christmas and I still have like half of it and I use it like it is toilet paper!) okay I think I'm done:) hope this helps c:
