Review: L'Oreal Pro Matte Foundation.

My skin type: combo (mostly oily in the summer)
Products used on face: Hourglass Veil Mineral Primer, L'Oreal Pro Matte

This was my first time trying this foundation. I definitely find it starts drying quickly when you apply it and it's a bit hard to blend but you have to work in small sections. I found it clinged to any dry patches that I have and it didn't blend too well on my nose. The coverage is nice (light/medium). It gave me a very matte look for a few hours but it definitely isn't 24 hour long wearing foundation. I've had it on for just over 6 hours now and my nose is very oily and a bit patchy. The rest of my face is find. The rest of my face isn't patchy or anything. I find it kind of settles into any fine lines and pores. I was looking for a replacement for my MUFE Mate Velvet + foundation and thought this was it but sadly it's not. However I do really like the foundation and I will still use it as an everyday foundation but on nights where I'm going on I will probably reach for my MUFE Mat Velvet + I still also prefer the L'Oreal True Match Foundation. I find it blends easier and looks a bit more natural. What do you think of this foundation?

I haven't tried it, but thank you for the well written, thoughtful, descriptive post. rather than just posting a picture -- look at my haul!!

Thank you! Yeah Liz I don't know what's wrong with the nose area, everywhere else looks pretty good but there it looks all weird.

I agree! It did not set well around my nose and was patchy on my forehead :/
