It's not something I'd get done, but since you want it I say get it for sure. It's dramatic, but if you end up not liking it you can just wear your hair down or Half up and it'll be covered. So there's not that much risk anyways:)

I did it and I loved it while I had it, but while I was growing it out I hated it I never wanted to wear my hair up because I thought it looked bad having a spot on my head of short little pieces growing out.

Do ittt before I lost my hair I shaved half my head and I just loved it I know mines more extreme than what your wanting but I think the whole style is just super badass and you definitely have the look for it

I'd do it ;) I will never ever go back to not having my sides shaved. Your head will just feel lighter lol.
But be careful with designs, don't get them unless you plan on going to your hair dresser every few days. After a day or two of growth they look awful. I had little lines cut into mine (kinda like ruby rose) and after two days it just looked awful, because the hair doesn't grow exact evenly and so it looks very sloppy after a few days, I ended up just shaving it off.
