Late last summer I saw a dress on sale, fell in love, tried on but didn't realise how I looked in the mirror and bought it. because it was late summer I didn't have any time to wear it. now I want to wear it but now I see the cups are extremely small.?? what can I do? everything fits except cups.

Maybe you could wear a cropped sweater over it and it would be like a skirt

That's a good idea but I want to be able to wear at formal events.

There may be a small slit on either side of the cup (or you can create one, carefully) and you can remove the cup. It won't do a ton, but if it's close to fitting, it'll give you a little more room.

Thanks Kailey! it's not super close to fitting but it's worth trying.
Ramsha, I tried it on with a cropped strapless top, it looked amazing and it was super comfy. thank you!

I have this problem with so many clothing items it's ridiculous! If it doesn't fit, I do wear crop tops over them like @Ramsha said, take the cups out(unless the fabric is thin!!) like @Kailey said, and I put straps on it! If your chest is too large it can spill over the top part of the dress and drag it down/sag. Obviously we don't want that. I make straps for them so it holds the dress up and helps give the illusion of a good fit. It might be a little tight, but women used to wear corsets tight enough to where they'd pass out so I figured I can deal with a little snuggness lol :) I hope I helped you some Love!

I go through my older clothes that I don't wear anymore or go to the fabric store and pick out a solid color that goes with the dress. Then I cut the clothing into 1 large rectangular piece or buy a foot or so fabric. Then I put the dress on and put the fabric over my shoulders and mark them where they meet the dress (and where you would sew them on). Make sure the fabric is SLIGHTLY looser than you would want it to be, incase of a mistake in sewing or measuring. You can always take more off, but it's harder to add onto what you cut off. Then you cut out a strip thats double the thickness you want it to be, fold the strip in half so that it's your desired thickness and sew it so it stays that way. Then simply sew it to the back and front of the dress, same place on each side :) If that's more than what you want to do, you could take it to a seamstress to have it done for you :) I hope I helped! And if you have any other questions feel free to ask :)
