I see a lot of techniques for cleaning powder brushes and small brushes, but I use fluffy-type liquid foundation brushes. Is washing them the only way to clean them? I would like to be able to use a cleaning technique between washes, but the brushes are so dense, it's almost impossible to remove all the makeup this way. I also use these fluffy brushes with cream contouring makeup and cream blush - I buff everything to perfection! - but again, hard to get into the center bristles with brush cleansers.

I like the larger fluffy liquid foundation ruin brushes...

I shake them really well before soaking them in lukewarm water with a little baby shampoo. I let them to soak for a while (depending on how much product is on them) and then I wash them 2 or 3 times.

Thanks Maria! How do you "soak" them without getting the base wet? So, no quick fixes between washings?

You could try a brush cleaning spray to get some extra product out of the brushes so they're a bit cleaner next time you use them. I use the Sephora one and it works amazingly, it gets a ton of product out of my brushes! (:

Once again, Jacqueline to the rescue! I did buy the Parian Spirit set. Just received my Rae Morris Radiance...can't wait to try it...! Still debating on trying a 2nd one (liquid foundation brush) out - might go for the Kevyn Aucoin since I know where to see it in person. Thank you!
