So whenever I wear foundation/concealer, it always becomes a bit orange in some spots after I've worn it for a while. Is this because of the type of foundation I am using? Or is it being caused by something else?

This is caused by oxidation. This can be due to the foundation being old, a bad reaction with your skin or other products you use on your face or a reaction to the air.

Would the powder that I use cause it?

Oxidation is also pretty common for people with oily skin and it can happen with tinted powder.
