Hey girls,
So I moved to a country where English is definitely a no no for them:/ it's a miracle finding someone who will talk English (I mean in supermarkets and etc)
So unfortunately finding help at the drugstore for matching foundation is a big problem.
I tried at least 10 times to match my own foundation,(I put some on my collar bone because I saw that's the best way to see )so it looks good at the drugstore but when I come home it's like no honey, wrong match!
Do you have any other tips please? I can't wait to have a foundation that matches me perfectly.
Thank you X

When you test them in store, take a walk outside with a mirror, check it in natural lighting first!

You should be trying it on your lower cheek/ jaw bone because most peoples necks and chests are a different color from their face. Also do you know if your cool, neutral or warm undertoned? Maybe the shades your picking are the wrong undertone. Good luck!

Latifah-
To find your undertone cool means you have blue or purple veins on your wrist. your skin will usually have pink tones, silver jewelry flatters your skintone.
Warm means you have green or olive veins on your wrist. Your skin will usually have yellow tones, gold jewelry flatters your skintone.
neutral means blue-green/ or you can't tell what color the veins are, gold and silver jewelry flatters your skintone.
also I have neutral undertones.

First you shouldn't try on the collarbone, but on your jawline and across your neck. The shade should match both. Then, put it in your forehead to double-check and go look in natural lighting.
