I also find good blushes and eyeshadows at the drug store as well**

No. You get what you pay for. High end makeup has better ingredients and better pigment payoff. All mascara is the same to me though. I'm a firm believer that LashBlast is the best mascara to exist.

Hmm, I personally could never give up my Lancôme definicils mascara... And that's after trying at least 50 mascaras, including plenty of drugstore

FACTS : wet & wild have palettes that have some shades more pigmented than Mac. To get more pigment prime or use a paint pot

Milani baked blushes are AMAZING and you can find those at drug stores. Revlon has amazing lipglosses and sticks. Rimmel has numerous MAC dupes as well

I own all high end products but I will use my drug store products depending on where I'm going etc. But honey, you can use both. FACT

So to me, YES you can find SOME products at the drugstore to hold you over, use more frequently. I just spent 200 on 4 products at sephora & 160 at MAC for 3. All I'm saying is you do what you gotta do. It doesn't make you cheap if you shop at drugstores though

I think it depends on what you like a d what works for you and your budget of course I like both.

Vicky - I guess it does depend on the store/area! My friend works at a Target in southern New Jersey.
ALSO! Best tip when it comes to ordering stuff from Sephora: look for value sets/palettes/kits/etc. Honestly, to me, unless it's limited edition or you just want one eyeshadow from a palette (like, honestly, I just want Chopper from the NAKED2 so I'm not gonna buy the whole palette if I don't care for the other shades, I'll just pay 18 for one eyeshadow), stick with palettes and stuff. No need for a single eyeshadow from Urban Decay when majority are in their (constantly recycled) palettes anyway. Honestly, drugstore CAN be more expensive than high end sometimes. IT SOUNDS WEIRD, I KNOW. But when you look at kits then do the math, it makes sense

Honestly, with some products you can interchange high end and drug store makeup. Spend a lot on key products like foundation, but go cheaper with things like mascara or liner. Hope this helps. :)

some things really are basically the same thing. I have mostly drugstore makeup with exception of a few high end and I'm fine with it. I've made a lot of research on dupes, so most if my products are dupes for high end. you should check out emilynoel83 on YouTube she has a lot of drugstore dupes! and their exact dupes because she's very picky with that so thats why I trust her reviews! hope that helps!

Sure you can get the same results out of drugstore makeup but high end has better lasting power! Also better ingredients! That's HUGE! They also last a lot longer so you will end up paying the same amount of money in the end ya know?

Yes it can be, most of the lines from drug stores are owned by high end.Hits and miss with all cosmetics.

U can buy a 5 dollar product and have a 100 dollar outcome, makeup is about technique and how creative you can get with the product. If u can achieve a higher result with a less expensive product, more power to you! Give it a go and see. Test the waters. ELF products are literally a dollar and I have had awesome outcomes with those. Sample products and find what works for you.

I agree with rikki.. She's not asking about how to use make up but the quality and of course if you know what you're doing its not gonna matter if its high end or not but if you know about make up you'll see a difference in the quality of the product. For instance elfs eyeshadows are very chalky, drugstore foundation mostly feel heavy whereas high end doesn't.

Drugstore is better in the mascara department if you ask me. I've found foundations that work well from the drugstore, and concealers too. But for the most part, high end it better. Much better pigmentation and staying power.

Depending on yourself, yes & no. I have Smashbox, Lorac, TooFaced, Ulta, Sephora brands..& I could compare there pigmentation to a Wet & Wild pallet, or a color Tattoo..GOOD drugstore makeup can be compared in my opinion.
All depending on the products you find & like!

In some cases, close. Color Tattoos are comparable to Paint Pots. Eyeshadow you will pretty much never get the same quality. Blush is hit and miss. Mascara can be better sometimes. Eyeliner is really really a fine line. Depends what it is, in all honesty.
