Depends on what you buy and how well you can use it.

Not exactly. No. But like Rikki said, mascara is the easiest thing to find that could be be like high end products.

Some things found in a drugstore are comparable to high end and even work better...but they are far and few between.

Not at all, the only drug store brand that comes close is Sleek. But it's more mid-range.

I think you can find a lot of amazing drugstore items that are very comparable to high end. I use a little of both and sometimes I even put some drugstore items over high end ones.

Buy you foundation & concealers high end since that absorbs into your skin & um the rest drugstore . Except eyeshowdow bc I've gotten cheap ass crap that last for 1 hour compared to Lancôme or urban decay which is all day foooo .

With makeup I believe you get what you pay for.

Agreed, to me no. I do use drugstore mascara though. My MAC mascara was horrible, I love maybelline mascara though.

Actually, I would say that lip liners from the drugstore are good too. I have a Prestige and Etude House and they're drugstore prices and I quite like them. I've found some drugstore lip products (Milani glosses and Revlon lipsticks/lipglosses before something about them bugged me I don't remember right now I've been drinking lol) too. But yeah, when it comes to foundation-y things, concealers, eyeshadow... I like to go high(er) end. IMO, Physician's Formula eye booster eyeliner is good too
but for real i'm not paying 20 dollars for a mascara i'll toss in three or four months. ain't nobody got time for that. or money. yeah, you can't buy mascara with time.
.... rikki, stop drinking

I buy both and it really depends. I get high end at the air force base where it's super cheap so I can still experiment. My Almay powder has become a mainstay. I've loved my cover girl blush since before I was legal to drink or drive. I'm 45 now but rarely look it even without makeup. With makeup I can pass as my own daughter. Lol

Mascara is defiantly an exception.

In my opinion drugstore makeup is better, because ur skin determines its reaction to makeup no matter the cost. U can easily try different types of makeups and see wich one works best and feels good without wasting all that money. No matter how expensive ur skin might not like it and itll be a waste

Honestly, I've seen people complain more about spending too much money at the drugstore, because unless you have Rite-Aid/CVS/Walgreens (and those three stores aren't available everywhere), you're pretty much out of luck since Target (from what I hear from my friend that works there) won't take opened cosmetics, and I've heard mixed things about Wal-Mart's return policy.
With Sephora and Nordstrom (when I did buy MAC), I can buy and return if I must. I've spent so much money on drugstore makeup and it was mostly a waste because I didn't like it/it didn't suit me/I just wasn't using it and since most of it came from places like Target and Wal-Mart, I couldn't return it.

Depends. The right shade is perfection for me so if a drugstore has it, it's a home run!

It depends on the product. For example, I love the Maybelline Color Tattoos better than most high end cream shadows. Or mascaras, or lip products. I have drugstore lipsticks/glosses that I like as much if not more than high end ones. With drugstore products you just have to do your research before buying, so you don't end up wasting your money.

if you have sensitive skin then no

Some products like liners, mascara & even lipsticks are great to find at the drug store. Foundations, primers, powders etc you should go high end.
