Grape seed oil, avocado oil, or cortisone cream. You can soak a washcloth in milk and apply it to that area (squeeze the access milk) and if I were you I wouldn't go back to see that waxer I think she shouldn't have waxed you.

Its just that the hairs were very short but the redness is gone but its still irritated a bit but thanks Patty...ill try cortisone since I don't have those oils by hand.

I like to use grape seed oil, but cortisone cream will work as well. A professional should not have waxed you and continued to go over the same spots again, especially if they didn't use hard wax but even if they did, they should know when to stop.

Sarah it was hard wax....and she wasn't my usual esthetician but I noticed she used a light amount on each spot... is that ok or is she supposed to use thicker application? I guess I was paying extra attention because she was new.

Yeah even with hard wax you shouldn't go over the spot 'over & over again' and with hard wax it should be applied thicker than with soft wax. In case you didn't decide this already lol I'd suggest not going back! Is it still irritated? Did you use the cortisone?

If you mean bikini wax, your hair should be the length of a grain of rice when getting waxed. Did you shave prior to waxing? My Esthetician refuses otherwise. If this is brows or upper lip, lower heat, aloe waxing helps reduce sensitive skin from becoming irritated. Did you notice if she double dipped?

Rozberry it says in the title (brazillian) or I think it does, it only shows half of the word on mine. And Rozberry is correct, I'm an esthetician and I refuse to wax people if the hair isn't long enough or even close to it, the area will become irritated if it's waxed over the same spot too much, & if the hair isn't long enough you won't get a good result so I won't do it because I'm not going to charge someone knowing they won't get ideal results. It really baffles me these people have jobs, and the place of business isn't more cautious about what's being done

I'm definitely going back to European Wax Center instead of this new place I believe it was called WaxArt.
