So I'm going from Blonde to a Light golden Brown or Light Chestnut Brown.
Is it true that your hair can turn green? o:. Or is that a myth of some sort?

Yes it can
You just have to make sure it's done correctly. When using a box dye read ALL the directions carefully and completely BEFORE you begging dying. Even then, the color still can get messed up simply because all hair reacts differently to box dye. To make sure you are like 98% protected against green or another wrong hair color go to a salon to have it done. Even if it doesn't come out perfect they'll know how to fix it and will do so at no charge
