I did think vitamin e oil is the one that lightens scars. There's a good one by Jason you can get at Fred Meyer. It has a very high IU I can't remember what it's called I've been using it since my biopsy and it has lightened greatly.

Vitamin c serum is actually a good thing usually but it's recommended to use ones a day and not twice because it can be irritating. in combination with a good calming moisturiser it gave me good results. try using vitamin e oil and creams and masks that have lots of soothing ingredients for sensitive skin. it will calm down and heal, don't worry!

Mederma has gotten rid of a lot of my dark marks. Just have to be consistent.
