Tarte products, what are your thoughts.

Hi Everyone. Has anyone had any experience of using tarte products, you can buy them online in the UK now and I was wondering what everyone thoughts were about them, as a lot of you are frm the US where I believe its easily avaliable. The things that caught my eye were the Lipsurgence Matte Lip crayons and the contouring stick and brush. x

I love Tarte! The Lipsurgence crayons are my favorite. They also have some that have a slight shimmer and shine. I also love their concealers and Amazonian clay foundations.

I love their gifted mascarra. it's a dry formula, which I love. their self tanner is also really nice with minimal after smell. and of course the maracuja oil. if you can get the glamazon lipsticks on sale the grab those too, they have a nice attention finish and are super comfortable on the lips.

I have several of their lipsurgence lip crayons. I have 6 of the tints and two of the mattes. I love both and of course the mattes stay on longer because it's matte! Color pay off from Tarte is ALWAYS spot on! I also use their tarte mascara 4 in 1 lashes and it's my holy grail

I think they offer some fantastic products. Their blushes are gorgeous..powder snd creme stick as are their cheek stsins. Their lights! camera! mascara line never flakes or dries out my lashes and the waterproof is truly long lasting. Huge fan of their Vitamin C eye cream and Maracuja oil. Although I own 2 lip crayons, I like my Revlon color burst much more and it lasts soooo long. They also have a lovely, hydrating lip scrub. No brand impresses me across the board, but Tarte definitely is one of my favorites.

Tarte is one of my favorite brands. I pretty much only use their mascara, and I everything is at least decent. I haven't really found a dud. To me the mascara, the matte eyeshadows and the maracuja oil are the best things from them. I have a palette from two years ago that I use every time I put makeup on lol. The mattes just blend beautifully. In my opinion they're better than most brands mattes at sephora other than mattes the eyeshadow are comparable to urban Decay. I have 3 tarte palettes and they all have great mattes, and the other colors are nice and pigmented but aren't fantastic compared to the mattes. I've used a ton of their products, but aside from the ones mentioned I usually find a different holy grail. Like the eyeliner was nice, it stayed all day but was to shiny for my liking so I stuck with kvd. Though the gel liner is so great, but I don't use gel as much as liquid. They have a brow pencil I loved, it wasn't like a pencil liner, it was in the shape of a line instead of a round circle, but then I found mufe aquabrow and kvd's new pen brow thing. Same thing with their primer stick, with the green and purple in it, I liked it but then learned how to make my own custom shades with my mufe flash palette, making it a perfect match for my skin that day that I can tweak till it's right, rather than just the shades in the stick. I used their foundation for a long time, but I don't wear much anymore and haven't needed as much coverage as I used to. I love the blushes even though I don't use them, I have 3 lol. I have a lipsurgence and a lip glosses from a set I bought, but they crayon is minty smelly and I'm not a fan of mint. The color is pretty anf stays on, but I wouldn't buy it again. The lip gloss I love, I hate wearing lip glosses but I like tartes. They also smell delicious. I don't know what it smells like but it's so good lol.

Sorry for the novel. But all together tarte is great. If I had to pick one brand for the rest of my life I'd probably go with tarte.

Oh and the cheek stains! They're phenomenal. I hate blush, I'm naturally very red, so I really don't need it. But I have one in a dark taupey maroon color that is super beautiful. I use it quite often. I wish they had a contour shade of it though.

I love their Pure Maracuja Oil. My skin is dry on the winter and I use the oil every night as a serum and in the morning before my regular moisturizer. It prevents flaking and redness :) it has also helped with uneven skintone. I really like it!

I like there blushes, the new formu la on there shadows is such a big difference then what they had before (in a good way), there lights camera lashes mascara is nice, I have some of there lip gloss but havent tried them out yet lol.

Thanks everyone. The Maracuja Oil sounds interesting, will look into it. Ordered some of the matt lipsurgence crayons, lets see how they turn out. oh and the mascara I will take a look at those. from your comments seems like a good brand. xx

I use the brush with other contour products and love the brush but tried the slenderizer stick thing in ulta and didn't care for the color tbhn.
