What should I wear as a guest to a bar mitzvah? Help!

I would wear a nice dress, with your hair up or down depending on the dress. if the neck is high, have in up. if it's strapless, have it down & in the back. one - shoulder, have it all to one side. as for the dress, I have some here.

In the morning in the temple you need to have your shoulders covered. So if you have time to go home and change in the middle which you usually do wear a shouldered covered dress in the morning and a strapless to the party. If not, wear a strapless dress with a shawl over it. Have fun!

A shrug is a great way to carry a dress from one event to the other. No need to change or fuss with shawls that slip off the shoulder or sometimes cover your dress (as much as I love them) You can get a stylish shrug and rock it without being overheated and some are so fantastic, you may not want to remove it, but it is still an option! Have fun. :)

Bat mitzvahs are usually fun and classy! I like wearing a strapless dress under a sweater because your shoulder have to be covered in the temple. Then at the party I can take off the shawl and have fun! They usually give you socks, so you can wear whatever you want for shoes- just make sure you can walk in hem
