The skin around my nails is terrible.
since I am a goalie my gloves rub up against my nails and rip off some of the skin and it is really annoying😡
what have you tried if you have had them same problem?

I think your gloves are too tight. when I played club, our goalie got tight gloves too, & her nails broke a lot from the glove and the ball contact. but I would recommend argon oil/cream.

I used to box competitively and had the same problem after fights! I found that apply Vaseline to my fingers DURING fights under my gloves and then afterwards I would apply a layer of rose bud salve :)

I would invest in some cuticle oil/cream/wax as well. I personally like Burt's Bees, as it smells like lemons and is easy to massage around the nail area.
