Glycerine & Water are not what sets your makeup. In fact, it does the complete opposite. It will add a dewey finish to your makeup but absolutely no setting will be done. Your makeup wont last any longer than it usually does. In fact, bc of the finish it leaves, it might last less time.
Glycerine hold moisture in the skin rather than gets rid of it.

Courtney, sure you can apply it before! You can do it after if you'd like also, but I wouldn't recommend it for those who have oily skin. I feel like applying it before would work well for that winter skin!

I tried it today and It made my skin a little more glowy/softer looking!
