I would say just got out in the sun everyday for a little bit of time during summer then it should have lightened. This is what worked for me and
It stayed even over winter.

If your hair is brown, don't use sunin. it will most likely make your hair orange. those hair products to lighten your hair is store and usually targeted towards blondes..

also, don't use lemon for sure. it will dry your hair out and make it really coarse and brittle. honey didn't set out my hair, but it takes a while to see results, especially if your hair is darker..

if you're wanting blonde hair, just dye it. all these diy and cheap products are going to damage your hair and possibly not give you the results you want. if you just want a lighter brown, I'd recommend the honey method. there are lots of tutorials on youtube

One method that worked for me was cinnamon. I put a couple teaspoons of cinnamon in my normal conditioner and let it sit in my hair over night. the next morning I washed it out and my hair was slightly lighter (I only put the mixture on my hair ear down) than before. I repeated this process twice and the bottom half of my hair is definitely lighter than before. my natural hair color is dark brown but since I go to the beach a lot my ends were already a little lighter than my roots. if you try this method out please let me know:) would love to hear any results from using cinnamon

I agree with liz lol. in the full face pictures, the before looks lighter and in the pictures of just the hair color, the after looks a little brassy and orange to me, but maybe that's just me..
