Being out in the sun lightens it a teensy bit.

Put lemon juice in your hair and then go into the sun and it lightens a lot.

Mix sea salt and lemon juice in a spray bottle and spray evenly before going outside for at least half a day.

Just know that lemon juice will make your hair really dry and it's not the best for your hair.

Sunin is a product you could use, you spray it in your hair and then you either blow dry it or sit out in the sun and it lightens your hair, or you could just choose the strands you want highlighted. but keep in mind that it's a time consuming process, you do it every day until you get the highlights you want. lemon juice left my hair REALLY dry and it barely lightened it so I don't recommended it.

Adding on to what I said lemon juice works great on some people but on others it does the opposite and that was a risk I was willing to take to lighten my hair but it made it really dry. I wouldn't take the risk it made my hair so dry. I hated doing it.. And then I just went to the salon and got highlights which was a better decision for meeven though it was bleach.

Sunin is good but don't use it if you plan on ever bleaching your hair- your hair needs to grow COMPLETELY out for you to bleach.

I use a mixture of lemon juice and coconut oil so it doesn't dry out my hair and make it nasty!

I found this way online it says to put tea in your hair so I am trying that as it is not sunny where I am atm. This is what it looks like right now I will put a pic up when I have finished and blow dried itπŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’—

I tried lemon but since I have dark hair It made the parts where I applied it almost orange-y brassy and I did not like it at all so just a heads up. But if you have lighter hair then I'd say try it if you're up for it. It's just trial and error. It may work, it may not.
