Please don't use Vaseline on your lashes. It's a sealant, not a moisturizer, so it can clog your pores and even your tear duct.

I second what Alexis says. Please do not use vaseline on your eyelashes.

Sudocrem on blemishes. It has antiseptic and soothing properties, it really helps with cystic acne in particular.

I agree with Alexis, it's really not a smart idea. As for beauty secrets, a jar of coconut oil can do loads of things but I only use it on my hair as a mask.

Dust powder underneath your eye makeup, it helps 'seal it' and keep your liner and mascara from smudging. Another tip (not really a secret though) but never ever ever EVER go to bed with makeup on at night. Also please don't put any vaseline on your eyes or anywhere near your face...!

Argan oil! I use the Josie Maran brand, but any other brand will work as long as it's 100% pure. I use it under my foundation to moisturize my skin and give my face a glow. Most days I mix it into my primer. After using heat on my hair, I apply it only to the ends, since it can be too greasy if overused. It's also great for your cuticles and it's my favorite thing to moisturize my legs with after shaving.

Please don't use vaseline on lashes
And please don't use toothpaste as a wash or treatment. It's incredibly drying due to high alcohol levels and can cause burns on the skin. It's also WAY to abrasive for the skin. It's not safe. It's incredibly dangerous and damaging. The only benefit you get is it's antibacterial, due to the high alcohol content, but you can get skin safe options in washes, toners and acne treatments.

I second the toothpaste thing, it worked so well for me until I left it on too long and had a huge burn on my cheek that looked a thousand times worse than the pimple
