I was just wondering what is your inputs on this I am not talking about the actual store I am talking about their brands the sephora brand and ulta brand make up if you have tried any of their products...

I love the sephora brand and I feel like it's more high quality.. The sephora brand is also more expensive than the Ulta brand. I've tried a variety of things from both and I have always liked the sephora collection more. Their nano lip liners are wonderful, stay put and are only $5! Their shadows are blendable without an abundance of fallout.. Their liquid liner is also good, as are their bronzers. Also love the sephora masks (especially the rose one in the pink packaging) and nail polishes! I've tried from Ulta, pretty much most of the range, including foundations, eyeshadows, blushes, bronzers, highlighters, lippies, you name it.. And nothing has yet to just wow me, and make me prefer it over drugstore brands! The Ulta salon nail polishes are decent as well! Hope this helped you!!

I haven't tried Ulta's brand, but Sephora's is good! Their lipsticks are very pigmented and not drying, the pencil waterproof eyeliners slice smooth and last a considerable amount of time and the eyeshadows are a hit or miss, although the single eyeshadows tend to be of a much better quality than the palettes; nail polishes are nice (the brush makes applications easier), the waterproof eye make-up remover is better than Clinique's or Lancome's, the nail polish remover is seriously the fastest!! only have to dip each finger 10 sec and that's it! aaaand finally I may say I like their brushes :)

I'v had nothing but bad experiences using ULTA brand cosmetics. Sephora...I've had a few hits/misses. I love their $5 mini eye and lip liners. The lippies are pretty nice though even though I have yet to bring one home myself. Very pigmented just from watching in-store. Now their nail polish...WOW. The Formula X line is awesome sauce! The wear time exceeds my Essie and Zoya polishes.

Laura what colors do you have for the eyeshadows

Most of the Ulta products I've tried are absolute garbage. I absolutely adore Sephora's eyeshadows, all the ones I've tried are very pigmented and blend wonderfully. I love their lipsticks, paper masks, and brushes too. I honestly just love Sephora as a whole more than Ulta...I've had nothing but bad experiences there with uninformed/rude staff, lack of stock, and poor store presentation (messy displays and testers, etc.). The only reason I go there now is for NYX products, if the Target in my town had more of a selection for NYX (they JUST started carrying the brand) I would never go back to Ulta againz.

I have a few old palettes that have been discontinued, along with a couple of their Colorful 5 Eyeshadow Palettes (in Serene to Majestic Plum and Sunrise to Sunset Bronze), their shimmer shadows in Surfin' USA, Sweet Dreams, Dying For Shoes, and My Little Black Dress, and a Mirror shadow in Hollywood's Calling.
