For wings? Line with pencil. For a more dramatic look, go over with gel or liquid :)

I've worn a cat eye almost daily for 14 years, it all works just depends on how much drama you want. Start with pencil for daytime, and gels for night. When you get more comfortable, liquids are a great night look

liquid or gel if you have one that doesnt skip. i prefer liquid with a brush or felt tip. i make a line at the corner of my ee extending towards the end of my brown and then connect the top and fill in the triangle shape that is made. (similar to what most tutorials show you, works for me to help keep the shapes even which is a must, different shapes wings on each eye is nutty)

Gel eyeliner for me looks the best:) When doing the wing follow you lower lash line and connect it to the eyeliner on your upper lash line. Gel eyeliner would probably give you the best results!

Gel liner for sure and I love MAC'S 236 brush. I coat both sides then pinch the brush for a super precise wing , working from the outter corner in !!!!

Gel or liquid...but it is harder to correct your mistakes with liquid. It can tend to run a little!
