I have a skin condition called lichen planus and it leaves spots everywhere does anyone know of a good cover up or way to cover them up.

Your doctor didn't prescribe you anything? That's the best thing to do rather than covering it up.

Not to fade the spots just to stop the itching

It's a treatable condition. They can prescribe you something to make it go away.

Really? because when I asked they told me they couldnt prescribe anything for fading do you know of any medications I can ask about specifically?

I wish I did. I had a friend in high school who has this stuff and her doctor prescribed her some medication, I believe it was an oral medication rather than something you would rub on the effected area, and it went away but came back but when it came back it was faded and then it went away and each time it came back it was slightly faded.

I tried looking it up and couldn't find anything. I could be wrong, but I really don't think I am. Try talking to more than just one derm..

She had it on her skin, on her back and legs, the medication was an oral medication. Glad I've given you hope though! I'm sorry it wasn't much help. Definitely try talking with a couple more derms about it!

Definitely talk to more dermatologists. My best friends brother has it, and he has a cream for when he is super itchy and a pill to take to get rid of it. When he takes the pills it goes away and fades. He's super bad at taking pills though lol. I wish I knew what it was he takes. I would ask, but they don't get along anymore so unfortunately I don't think I'd get the answer.
