Hello! I always have very oily eyelids and it always makes my eyeshadow crease and look clumpy almost.. I don't have oily skin, it's just my eyelids. I also only use powder shadow because I didn't think cream would help with creasing. Does primer help with this? What can I use to prevent it? Thanks yall!

Primer will definitely help. I don't normally use cream shadow, but I think some don't crease as easily as others. The NYX jumbo eye pencil in milk works great as a base for me.

Definitely use a primer! Lorac Behind the Scenes Eye Primer is my Holy Grail primer since I have very hooded lids so eyeshadow creases on me so quickly but I've experienced no creasing since using the Lorac primer! I've also heard of people applying translucent powder over their lids first but I've never tried that.

Primer will fix your problem definitely! I use Urban Decays primer potion and love it :)

I have oily hooded lids so shadow almost always creases. Even with a primer, I will still crease. Setting primer with powder will help, as it makes the surface even more matte, I think and will give me a few hours more wear out of my shadow. The shadow the works the best for me is L'oreal Infallible 24 hour. It's pricey and doesn't come in a huge array of colors (and almost no matte shadows), but it lasts even without a primer.

I've never tried powdering before priming. I always heard to do it after priming...

Yes an eye primer would help heaps. I use urban decays primer potions and works great. you can try using translucent powder over your primer that would keep it matte then apply your eye shadows as usual.
