The questions says it all, and if yeah, what would be a good color to have for light/medium skin tones?
thanks!

I have one in the shade Diffused Light and it's... okay. Gives kind of a subtle glow but that's really it. I wouldn't use it as a bold highlighter.

BECCA, Kevyn Aucoin, Too Faced all have beautiful highlighters. I like Hourglass mostly for its packaging.

The Becca shimmering skin perfector in Opal works great for me and my skin is fair. Never tried the Hourglass but there are a few ladies on here who rave about it on a regular basis:)

Jaclyn Hill has a great video on highlighters if you want to check it out, Sonja. :)

Jazqueline, I went on the Too faced site and saw the Candlelight Glow Duo, but only found either Candlelight pressed powder or the Absolutely invisible transparant pressed powder. which of these 2 is it?

Hourglass is not meant to be a highlighter but for medium skintones I'd choose dim light

Dim Light has no shimmer to it and is great as an all over powder. I would go with either Luminous Light or Radiant Light (which is more of a bronzy highlight).

Not really. It's great for photo shoot and on camera but it looks a bit cakey in the daylight :)

It doesn't look cakey on me. If someone applied it with a heavy hand...yes...cake central but its all about using the right tools to apply and knowing how much to apply.

I love the hourglass ambient lighting powders for when I don't want a strong highlight. It gives just a beautiful sheen. My fav is luminous light.
