EL Double wear worth it or not?

I have been wanting to try the double wear foundation but the price is a little high... I'm on a budget but I still want to purchase this so can anyone tell me if this product worth the price? I have acne scaring and acne. my skin is also combo.

I love Estée Lauder Double Wear! It has medium but buildable coverage, is lightweight, and doesn't break down from my skin's oils (:

I agree with Alexis, I'd get matched and get a sample before purchasing it.
I too love my DW, I have the Maximum Camouflage one and it literally covers EVERYTHING.

I agree with Alexis, I love my double wear foundation I only use it like on special occasions or if I know it'll be long period of time. it's very good, to me its full coverage covers all my scars.

It's a hit or miss. I also fell under the hype so I purchased it and the color was perf when I got it matched at Macy's, so I purcahsed and noticed it was too light and went back to get a darker shade. Again, it was a perf match in the store but found it to be too orange for my skin but I used it twice and mixed it with my light MUFE Matt Velvet + foundation until I decided to just return it bc I was not going to purchase two different foundations to match my color. I also noticed it broke me out and I don't have real sensitive skin /:.
I thought I'd love it but the color range is not for me and it broke me out which I did not expect at all.

I really really loved it when I first got it, the color matched me perfectly (which is so difficult to find) and made my skin look so nice. But after a while I noticed it doesn't look as good as it used to, maybe I'm just used to it? But it does cover my acne and acne scarring nicely.

A lot of people like it, but some say it makes then break out. For me I didn't get it because the shade selection was awful and doesn't go below a super yellow "Light"/Medium.

Is there a Cosmetics Company Store near you? If so, they carry double wear and it's less expensive.

I personally love it, the only thing I don't love is the color. I have 1c1 "Cool Bone" and it's the lightest and coolest, yet still a little dark on me lol. But I doubt you'll have any issues with that. :p

Yes definitely worth the purchase. I have acne scaring, acne prone skin and oily skin. this foundation is a medium to full coverage, buildable without making you look cakey. it feels very light weight and long lasting.

I got a sample and hated it. It clung to all my dry patches and separated all over my skin. It was literally flakes everywhere. I was very disappointed :(
