You could do a nude lipstick or even do something bold

You don't have to but it would compliment the look much better in my opinion

If you think it's too much, you could wear a nude color or just some tinted gloss

Do you think some people are too light for a dark smokey eye.

I don't think so, from the knowledge I've attained about smokey eyes it's all just one color that's darker at the lid and smokes out as you go towards the top. It really depends on which shadow you use.

You could do a softer smoky eye by using gray or shades of brown instead of the traditional black. Also, it can really change by how you apply the eye shadow. You can use the color itself really close to the eyelashes and blend it out for a softer look.
Don't be afraid to experiment and find what works for you ;)

I've worn my smokey eyes with bold red lips and gotten boat loads of compliments.
It really just depends on how far you're willing to go!

I think a pink or nude looks great with a smokey eye! Brings the whole look together. That being said, you can wear whatever you want! It's just makeup, so do what you like!

It's a personal preference...if you like how it looks then wear it :)

Yes, but I would say tone down the lip rather than using something very bold.
