Hi ladies, I have a couple of questions for girls with nostril a piercing. I'm getting mine pierced tomorrow and I'm wondering how do you apply your foundation with your nostril piercing? I am hoping to get a ring after but I'm not sure how I would apply the makeup with a nostril ring. thanks again, any tips on nostril piercings are welcomed.

It's honestly not hard at all! I just apply it over usually and wipe the foundation off the stud right after lmao. I'm lazy though. When I'm wearing rings, I just take it out. I wear mine out most of the time now though! B.

Oh okay thank you! I will most likely do the same thing! I'm just a little scared of it getting infected.

Yeah, when you first get it pierced try not to put any makeup around it.

I got mine pierced like 7 years ago and didn't wear face makeup so I can't really say but I just advise you not to because you don't want to put anything in a fresh new wound!

Thank you soo much! do you remember what you used to clean it?

Normally your piercer will go over everything with you relating to care of it and how to clean it an most likely they will have a soap or solution that you can buy from them to clean it with. But defiantly try not to put anything around it all for awhile after you get it pierced.

Are you getting it done at an actual tatto/piercing shop?

Yeah I make my own saline solutions for all my piercings. :) in order to do that, you need either non-iodized salt or I personally use sea salt. 1/4 teaspoon (not table-spoon) of fine-grain, non-iodized sea salt to 1 cup of clean warm water. If that solution is too strong and causes your skin to become dry, use a mixture of 1/8 teaspoon sea salt per cup of water. Or your piercer may also have H2Ocean, which is also good!

Also make sure you're piercer uses a needle for the piercing, not a gun.
