I'm going to a M.A.C store soon and I don't know what to buy. Any ideas? I've been looking at lipsticks, eyeshadows, blushes and foundation for dry skin. But any suggestions would be fine.

I love my face and body foundation :) absolutely gorgeous on my skin and dry perfectly, if you do buy this foundation I think a powder to finish off (possibly a matte one) would do just great since it does start to shine a bit around oily areas :) also their lipstick are amazing!! :)

Hailey, I think Face and Body foundation from Mac is better for dry skin. I bought it before since I have dry skin and it made my skin flawless but it's not long wearing. It is too sheer and light for me. It is a light to medium coverage. I like Mac Mineralize more than Face and Body.

For lipsticks I love myth, fleshpot, ruby woo, heroine, creme d nude, peach stock, honey love, pure zen, candy yum yum and creme cup.
for blushes I like melba, peaches, sunbass, margin, desert rose, gingerly and mac warm soul mineralized.
for concealers I like mac pro long wear

No face and body isn't that why I suggest a powder to finish off. For me it works all day while in working in the salon. I'm very aware of how I look all day since I have to look at myself sometimes when working with a client, that includes hair :) but for lips!! Mac has got to be the brand, they are long lasting and the pigment in them is stunning :)

Their lipsticks are really well-priced for what you get, I think. I'm not in love with the packaging, but every MAC lipstick I've ever bought has felt nice on, lasted long and had great pigment. Definitely ask their advice about foundation matching, etc. for your skin type. The consultants aren't always right, I find, but they know the products pretty well so at least get their opinion. If I were going to the MAC store, I would buy makeup brushes, because I don't like ordering brushes online that much, and seeing the brushes in person helps me decide whether it's something I really need or not.

For clarification mac's mineralize foundation and face and body are good for dry skin. If you're interested in powders rather than liquids mac's mineralize skin finishes are great as well. fyi studio sculpt is a full coverage foundation.
